Hands down, Grayton Beach is one of the coolest, hippest, most eclectic communities on the beach. Grayton Beach offers a slightly more laid back beach experience. With live oak lined streets offering beautiful beach bungalows to gulf front estates, Grayton Beach has it all. Locals with beach permits can drive on the sandy beach, and you can even charter a fishing trip with one of the local captains and launch right from the beach. One of my favorite things to do is watch the fishing trips return to see what they caught. You also need to go check out Grayton Beach State Park for pristine, preserved white sand dunes and beautiful emerald green waters.
Uptown Grayton Beach offers boutique shopping and dining while Grayton Corners offers additional shopping.
Grayton Beach is also home to the world famous Red Bar and Shortys Surfside. Many people have reported seeing a celebrity or two when dining at Red Bar.
